Pico Plus Laser

PicoPlus Pico laser is an advanced second-generation Picosecond Laser, which is moreeffective and safer than traditional lasers.

Pico Laser is a non-ablative pigment laser that works in ultra-short 450 picosecond laser pulses compared to Q-Switched Nd:Yag Laser that works in nanosecond pulses. Pico laser is 100x shorter. Hence, it has lesser photo-thermal effect.

In addition, pico laser has higher photo-acoustic effect (more energy). Its picosecond laser shatters the pigmentation into smaller fragments that can more easily removed by the body body’s immune system. It has ability to remove stubborn pigmentation compared to traditional laser.

Is the procedure painful?

With the numb cream applied prior the procedure, the minimal pain is bearable. The
laser feels like tiny warm pricks on the skin.

Are any any side effects?

Pinkish flush or mild itchiness after the laser might be experienced but it may go away
within a few hours.
